The Abel & Imray aerospace & defence team offers Intellectual Property services in all fields of aerospace technology, whether for commercial use or military/defence based, including mechanical and structural engineering, materials (composites, alloys etc.), material processing techniques (machining, welding etc.), manufacturing processes, electrical and hydraulic equipment, fuel systems, optics-related technologies, sensors, testing systems, aircraft interiors, and computer- and software- implemented inventions.
Our professionals have a wide variety of technical backgrounds, and many of them have experience in industry and/or university research. Clients include several of the “primes” in the UK as well as a range of companies from within the supply chain.
Abel & Imray is an approved service provider to members of WEAF (West of England Aerospace Forum), which is a trade association representing the interests of the aerospace and defence industry in the West and South West of England. Abel & Imray is one of the partner firms that form the Defence Advisers Council. We are also a member of Aerospace Wales (the Welsh aerospace forum).
