Emily has an MEng and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Bath. Her PhD focused on the study of convective
instability in porous media. Areas of expertise include fluid dynamics
and numerical methods.
Prior to undertaking postgraduate study Emily was employed
as an Engineer with Frazer-Nash Consultancy Ltd working with clients in a
variety of sectors including defence, nuclear power and aerospace.
Emily handles patent work, mainly in the mechanical field,
and is involved in drafting and prosecution work in the UK and Europe.
Emily joined Abel & Imray in 2011 and is based in the
firm’s Bath office.
