Xingye has a first degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University in China and a PhD degree in Analytical Bioscience from the University of Nottingham.
During her PhD studies, Xingye also worked for a UK-based engineering consultant company as a part-time Business Development Associate, responsible for many of the company’s business development activities, especially in China, and after completion of her PhD she became the full-time Intellectual Property Officer of the company. Xingye has experience of patent prosecution, especially in China. Her particular technical expertise is in the chemical subject matter area including pharmaceuticals and analytical techniques, although she also has experience in handling mechanical subject matter.
Xingye joined Abel & Imray as a trainee patent attorney in 2011 and works in the firm’s Bath office. Xingye has a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London and is fluent in Mandarin and English.
